Carl Orr is a master craftsman. One of those rare artists who combine
passion and virtuosity to create compelling music with every phrase. His 2006 CD Deep Down explores aspects of music and guitar playing that he hasn't covered in earlier jazz-funk recordings, namely organ-based jazz, bossa nova and solo pieces. Carl is also one of Europe’s finest guitarists with a vast range of experience , including touring and recording with some of the finest artists in contemporary music, such as Billy Cobham, Nathan Haines, and Dale Barlow.
