'Standard Issue' was released in 2005 and features Carroll's celebrated trio, along with special guest jazz-greats: vocalist Ian Shaw, guitarist John Parricelli and saxophonist Bobby Wellins. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, it was a massive hit with critics and the public, and went on to garner two British Jazz Awards and a Marston Pedigree Award for Carroll.
